Heya everyone, it's been a hot minute since the last big update to the site, and I have some news to share. We've decided that we're going to remake this site from the bottom up. It'll still have a lot of the same information as it does right now--It'll just be updated, with a new layout and all.
The main reason why we want to just completely remake the site is because it was initially built with very little html & css knowledge (that we had mainly from tumblr blog editing), and it had been built onto over time. There are still remains of old code scattered about here and there. Now the code is kind of messy feeling, and a lot of the formatting doesn't make sense to us anymore.
Some things we're hoping to do include: moving all alter information to circozy.cafe which may or may not get its own rebuild, reformat the about page, create shrines for our interests, have a native guestbook, update how our art is displayed, and more. We're also considering creating a separate site just for keeping information about the Plural Peafowl flag, as well as any other terminology and flags we come up with relating to dissociative disorders.
Another thing we are trying to figure out is if we want to move to nekoweb or stay on neocities. On one hand, we've been with neocities for a while now and have been a supporter. It's what we're most familiar with. But on the other hand, we keep hearing about how neocities supports/likes AI...? I haven't been able to find the specific details but just hearing about that alone is making us consider moving to somewhere strictly anti-AI. If anyone has links to more specific deets, please don't hesitate to drop them in the comments.
Overall, I'm glad to get back into coding. We've been having a lot of issues with our creativity lately, so having the drive to actually code is like a breath of fresh air. I hope you all enjoy what the site will look like in the future! :)
